3.0 – Personal information that this website collects and why

This website collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:

3.1 – Site visitor tracking

This site uses WP-Statistics to track user interactions. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our website and to see their journey through the website.

Although WP-Statistics records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you. WP-Statistics also records your internet connections IP address which could be used to personally identify you however Internet Service Providers do not grant us access to any of your personal information based on that IP address. The Australian Communications and Media Authority made submissions to the Australian Law Reform Commission to the effect that while IP addresses uniquely identify computers connected to the internet, the address relates to a computer or other device. It is not linked to an individual and cannot alone identify the individual who is using the machine.

3.2 – Contact forms and email links

Should you contact us using the contact form on our site or via an email link, none of the data you supply will be stored by this website or passed to be processed by any of the third party data processors defined in section 7. Instead, the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). Our SMTP servers are protected by transport layer security (TLS) meaning that the email content is encrypted before being sent across the internet.

4.0 – How we store your personal information

No personal data collected during your use of the website is stored on our web server and is only stored by the third party data processors mentioned in section 7 below.

5.0 – Cookies

imi.solutions do not use cookies to collect information about how you browse the site.

6.0 – About this Website

This website is hosted by GoDaddy with an North American based data centre. Details on GoDaddys privacy policy found on the GoDaddy website here.

7.0 – Our third-party data processor

We use GoDaddy as a third party to process the contact form on our website on our behalf. GoDaddy complies with the legislation set out in section 2.0. These data processes are:

GoDaddy processes data outside the EU, in the USA, but are EU-U.S. Privacy Shield compliant.

8.0 – Data Breaches

We will report any unlawful data breach of this website’s database to any and all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.
